Imagine being able to upgrade the lighting and thermostat systems in 10,000 Greensboro homes and businesses and perform extensive energy retrofitting on more than 5,000 housing units and 125 non-residential buildings.
Greensboro city officials are imagining all that and more now that they have submitted an application for funding for building energy efficiency retrofitting to the US Department of Energy.
